Delivery

Goods held locally are dispatched same day or next day (excluding weekends) depending on time of order and the courier / pallet service being used. Goods held externally with our suppliers can take up to 7 working days for us to receive, and are dispatched next business day. All goods listed on this site are subject to availability.

 

When an item cannot be dispatched in the listed timeframe, the customer will be notified of the delay and given the following options:

  1. A revised delivery date.
  2. The choice of an alternative item where applicable.
  3. A full refund

 

Items weighting up to 30KG and held locally will be dispatched with standard courier (e.g. DPD, Fastway) and these items would normally be delivered within 48hr (usually next day) of dispatch excluding weekends.

Items weighting 31KG upwards and held locally will be dispatched on a pallet service and would normally be delivered within 72hrs of dispatch excluding weekends.

 

When receiving your delivery, you must ensure that all your items are accounted for. Any missing items or damaged boxes need to be documented on the proof of delivery, which you will sign.  Any discrepancies which are not documented at the time of delivery will not be accepted afterwards.

 

Shortages, non deliveries or damaged items should be reported by telephone to the accompanying number within 24hrs of the goods being received, or failure to be delivered, and within 72hrs in written format to the following email address – 074 91 51940 / help@planetfitness.ie. Failure to report shortages or damaged items using the above methods and timeframe will mean we will not accept responsibility.

 

Delivery charges are based on the overall weight of the order and are detailed as follows:

Republic of Ireland

Any item(s) weighting up to 30KG will incur a €9.99 delivery charge.

Any item(s) weighting 31KG or above will incur a €69.99 delivery charge

Northern Ireland

Any item(s) weighting up to 30KG will incur a €9.99 delivery charge.

Any item(s) weighting 31KG or above will incur a €69.99 delivery charge

We offer a collection service to customers. In the case of goods being purchased and the customer is collecting the goods, we would suggest the customer would contact us on the accompanying telephone number in advance. We can confirm the availability of the good(s) and arrange a collection time, so the customer is not left inconveniently waiting around while the order is put together.

 

Customers can also arrange their own courier service for the collection of good(s) purchased. In this case the customer would contact us first by telephone on the accompanying number and then in written format to the following email address within 24hrs of the order being placed - 074 91 51940 / help@planetfitness.ie We cannot release an order to a pre arranged courier service without the customer following the above steps. Any cost or liability for a failed collection is at the expense of the customer. In the case of damaged or missing items, the customer would have to follow the procedures of the courier company they have contracted to do the collection. We would also need to be notified, by the accompanying telephone number, within 24hrs of the order being delivered  and within 72hrs in written format to the following email address – 074 91 51940 / help@planetfitness.ie

Returns

Under distance selling regulations you can return your purchase within 14 days of receipt, providing the goods are unopened, unused and in sellable condition.  The customer will receive a full refund for the value of the item(s) being returned. Please note refunds don’t include the delivery cost. To return an unwanted item, please contact the accompanying telephone number within 14 days of receipt – 074 91 51940. You will be issued with a returns number which must be clearly visible on your outer packaging.  You must ensure that the item(s) being returned are properly packaged, as any damage occurring in transit will be the responsibility of the customer. The customer is responsible for the return delivery cost.

 

A refund excluding the initial delivery cost, will only be issued after the item(s) have be returned and verified to meet the returns conditions.

Faulty Goods

DOA: dead on arrival

The customer must inform us of the fault within 24hrs of receipt of the goods by contacting us on the accompanying telephone number – 074 91 51940. You will be issued with a returns number and will be requested to document the fault in writing within 72 hrs to the following email address – help@planetfitness.ie. In the case of the customer receiving a faulty item(s), we will arrange for collection of the faulty item(s) at our expense.  The customer is still responsible in making sure the item(s) are packed properly. Should the item(s) be damaged in transit as the result of not being properly packed, the customer is liable for any associated costs.  A refund or replacement item(s) will only be issued after the faulty item(s) has been return to us, and we have verified the fault exists. Should there be no fault found, the customer will be liable for all delivery costs.

 

Should a fault develop in an item over time through normal and everyday use, you must contact us on the accompanying telephone number – 074 91 51940. You will be issued with a returns number and will be requested to document the fault in writing within 72 hrs to the following email address – help@planetfitness.ie. Should the fault develop within the first 30 days, we will arrange for collection of the item(s). After the first 30 days the customer will be responsible for the return costs. All the above term & conditions apply to all forms of returns.
